Mission
The Complex Systems and Applications network (COSA-net) was formed on 16/11/2006 by a decision of the Executive Board of the National Centre for Scientific Research “Demokritos”. Researchers from NCSR
“Demokritos” and other Greek Research Centers and Universities have joined the COSA-net in order to enhance their participation in collaborative and educational activities related to Complex Systems and their many applications in all sciences.
The main objectives of COSA-Net are to coordinate Complexity related research and educational activities in Greece and promote their impact worldwide. COSA-Net aims to provide the means for an effective “synergy” among Greek scientists through the application of advanced mathematical discoveries, flexible computational models and experimental analysis of complex systems, aiding in the advancement of ground breaking applications at the meeting point of all sciences.
